Specialist training

Equipped with the skills to read professional dental literature critically and apply that knowledge in clinical practice, as well as a hunger for more knowledge and the desire to gain and fine-tune additional clinical expertise, he set his sights on the University of Otago. There he gained a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry as a Prosthodontist (Specialist) on a doctoral scholarship, undertaking research in teeth bleaching and treating complex cases according to evidence-based practice. Along the way he also attained MRACDS* (Prosthodontist), further reinforcing his high standards of patient management, diagnosis and treatment for the benefit of the community.
